Bengaluru, July 10 -- ANI Technologies (OLA) today argued before the Karnataka High Court that the state government's decision to ban bike taxis is a violation of the aggregators' fundamental right to trade under Article 19(1)(g) of the Constitution. Appearing for OLA in a batch of appeals filed by major bike taxi aggregators, including Uber India and Rapido, senior advocate Arun Kumar argued that the state's policy decision cannot override statutory provisions of the Motor Vehicles (MV) Act or constitutional guarantees.
