Patna, Feb. 6 -- Bihar Assembly Speaker Prem Kumar on Thursday asked the state government to consider establishing markets in Punpun and Phulwarisharif for the farmers.
Intervening in the reply of Agriculture Minister Ramkripal Yadav to a starred question of Shyam Rajak during the pre-lunch sitting in the state assembly, the Speaker said that there are schemes to establish markets in rural areas under the GRAMG scheme.
He asked the Minister to consider opening the markets in Punpun and Phulwari Sharif under the scheme, to which the Minister assured the government would consider opening the markets for the farmers in the sid areas in future.
