Patna, Feb. 2 -- Reiterating the state government's commitment to further accelerate the pace of Bihar's development, Governor Arif Mohammad Khan today said that under the programme "Dugna Rozgar, Dugni Aay" (Double Employment, Double Income), the state's per capita average income will be doubled over the next five years.
In his joint address to the state legislature on the opening day of the budget session, Khan outlined the future strategies of the government saying that programmes have been prepared under Saat Nishchay-3 for the period 2025-2030. The first resolve, "Dugna Rozgar, Dugni Aay," aims to double the state's per capita income.
