Patna, Feb. 4 -- Bihar Finance Minister Bijendra Prasad Yadav presented the budget for the financial year 2026-27 in the Bihar Assembly on Tuesday. This year, state budget exceeds Rs3.47 lakh crore, which is more than Rs30,000 crore higher than last year. For the financial year 2026-27, Bihar's growth rate is estimated at 14.9%.
This budget is aimed at fulfilling the resolve of 'Viksit Bihar' (Developed Bihar). Based on the principle of 'development with justice', the budget takes care of all sectors and all sections of society, including farmers, entrepreneurs, youth, and women. It is a comprehensive, inclusive, and growth-oriented budget.
The minister said that this is Bihar's biggest budget so far, which is focused on ensuring "Respect...
