Patna, March 11 -- The Bihar Police Headquarters has alerted the district and police administration to remain vigilant over the possible shortage of LPG and petroleum products in view of the ongoing conflict in the Middle East and instructed authorities to take strict action against illegal storage or black marketing of fuel.

According to a letter issued by the Additional Director General of Police (Special Branch), the district administrations and police officials have been directed to keep a close watch on the situation in their respective areas. They have also been asked to monitor petrol pumps, LPG distributors and storage points to prevent hoarding or black marketing.
