Patna, March 20 -- The Bihar government admitted the presence of arsenic in the vegetables and crops cultivated near the river Ganga. While replying to a short noticed question of BJP member Amrendra Pratap Singh during the pre-lunch sitting in Bihar assembly on Thursday, Agriculture minister Vijay Kumar Sinha said that arsenic is being found in the vegetables and grains of the districts situated on the banks of Ganga in Bihar. Its quantity is much higher than the prescribed limit, he admitted.
