Patna, Sept. 9 -- Bihar Water Resources Minister and senior JD(U) leader Vijay Kumar Chaudhary today strongly objected to opposition activities of collecting forms from women for the so-called "Mai Bahin Yojna" announced by RJD leader Tejashwi Prasad Yadav.

Speaking to media here, Chaudhary said the Opposition was unsettled by the wide popularity of several welfare schemes launched by the Nitish Kumar government for women. Fearing massive support for the government, Tejashwi had made a "hollow promise" of benefits under Mai Bahin Yojna if voted to power, he alleged.
