Patna, Feb. 3 -- The Bihar government today said that it was reconsidering the teachers' transfer policy.

Replying to a starred question of Sandeep Saurabh during the pre-lunch sitting of the Bihar Assembly, Education Minister Sunil Kumar informed the House that the state government is reconsidering the teachers' transfer policy and indicated that the portal for mutual transfers may be reopened. He said the Nitish Kumar government is reviewing the entire process of teachers' transfers, including mutual (inter-se) transfers as well as general transfers.
