Patna, Feb. 11 -- The Bihar government on Wednesday admitted in the Assembly its failure to constitute a State Nodal Account ( SNA) for PM Aawas Yojana, following which the fund related to the scheme remained pending.

While replying to a short-notice question of Manjeet Kumar Singh during the pre-lunch sitting in the House, Bihar Rural Development Minister Shrawan Kumar said that despite the Centre's instruction the SNA could not be formed, leading to pendency of the related fund.

Referring to his meetings with his counterpart at the centre, Kumar said he had personally requested the union Rural Development Minister to allow the state government to utilise the fund till January 31 and the centre has allowed the same.
