Patna, March 22 -- Bihar Agriculture Minister Ram Kripal Yadav on Sunday directed officials to carry out a prompt assessment of crop damage caused by unseasonal storms and rainfall across various districts of Bihar.
Taking serious note of the losses suffered by farmers, Yadav instructed the Agriculture Department's Principal Secretary, Agriculture Director, Horticulture Director and other senior officers to ensure that a detailed evaluation of the damage is completed at the earliest.
He further asked departmental teams to remain fully active on the ground and provide all possible assistance to affected farmers.
