Patna, Jan. 27 -- Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha who is also Revenue and Land Reforms Minister on Tuesday warned that issuance of offline land revenue (lagan) receipts would not be treated as mere administrative negligence but as a serious act of indiscipline and a criminal offence.
Sinha said here the state government has made the entire process of land revenue payment and issuance of receipts completely online. If any instance of offline land revenue receipts is confirmed, those responsible will not be spared and strict departmental action would be taken along with registration of criminal cases.
Taking a firm stand against irregularities, he reiterated that the land revenue collection system is fully online.
