Kolkata, Dec. 27 -- The Bidhannagar Police Commissionerate today moved the Bidhannagar court seeking issuance of an arrest warrant order against Rajganj Block Development Officer Prasant Burman, accused of murder of gold trader (goldsmith) Swapan Kamilya on October 28 last at New Town in the city.
The Police move happened in view of violation of a Calcutta High Court ruling directing Prasant Burman to surrender within 72 hours as the time limit ended on December 25.
