Varanasi, May 6 -- Indian researchers have developed a new non-invasive urine-based technique for early detection of bladder cancer (UBC).

Researchers from the Department of Biotechnology, School of Science, Banaras Hindu University (BHU) collaborated with the Department of Urology, Institute of Medical Sciences (IMS), for the project.

The study was led by Dr. Samarendra Kumar Singh from the School of Biotechnology and Dr. Lalit Kumar from the Department of Urology, IMS, with significant contributions from a research team including Dr. Garima Singh, Dr. Anil Kumar, and Srishti Bhattacharjee.
