Hyderabad, March 29 -- Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu on Sunday called upon public representatives to take the lead in promoting solar energy by installing rooftop systems at their residences as part of the state government's "Model Solar Village" initiative.
Addressing ministers, MLAs, and MLCs at the Assembly Hall, the Deputy CM distributed letters urging them to actively participate in the programme aimed at transforming Telangana into a green energy-driven state.
He suggested that every public representative install a 2KW grid-connected solar rooftop system at their residence, emphasising that leaders must set an example to encourage wider adoption among the public.
