Bengaluru, March 31 -- In a major crackdown, city police have busted an alleged inter-state and international drug trafficking network, arresting 11 persons, including two foreign nationals, officials said today.
The arrests followed coordinated operations across Yelahanka New Town, Adugodi, Bharathinagar, Jalahalli, and Pulikeshinagar police station limits, based on specific intelligence inputs on the movement of synthetic and plant-based narcotics.
Among those held are one person from another state and eight local residents. Police said the accused were part of a larger, organised network that catered primarily to students, IT professionals and party circles, with a focus on high-value synthetic drugs such as MDMA.
