Kolkata, Nov. 12 -- West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee today inaugurated a 110 fully-equipped Mobile Medical Units (MMUs) that will take advanced healthcare services to the remotest corners of the state.

Each unit, staffed with doctors, nurses, and technicians, is a self-contained mobile clinic designed to deliver free diagnosis, consultation, and treatment right to people's doorsteps.

These MMUs mark yet another milestone of the TMC government's journey to ensure "Health for All". With 210 such units being rolled out, the state reaffirmed the government's commitment to a Bengal where no one is denied medical care because of distance, poverty, or circumstance, said the chief minister.
