Kolkata, April 14 -- Leader of opposition Suvendu Adhikari has urged West Bengal governor C V Ananda Bose to mobilise Red Cross and requested other voluntary organisations such as Rama Krishna Mission and Bharat Sevashram, ISKCON to extend relief materials for the affected people following largescale violence in Murshidabad in protest against Waqf Amendment Act last week.
" I would also like to request the Governor of West Bengal; Dr. C.V. Ananda Bose to kindly mobilise the Red Cross Society's West Bengal unit so that they can visit the affected areas for distribution of relief materials," Adhikari said on his X handle, seeking extension of relief to the affected people.
