Kolkata, May 7 -- The Trinamool Congress and the Bengal BJP were on the same page congratulating the Indian Armed forces after they destroyed nine terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) in the early hours of Wednesday, in retaliation for the deadly terror attack on tourists in Pahalgam, Kashmir, on April 22.
Hours after 'Operation Sindoor'- as the strike is named, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee posted on social media, writing, "Jai Hind! Jai India!"
While her message did not explicitly endorse the BJP-led central government, it was widely interpreted as support for the Indian Armed Forces' early Wednesday operation targeting terror camps across the Line of Control (LoC).
