New Delhi, Feb. 20 -- Marking a transformative moment in the growth of blind cricket in the country, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has formally committed structured support to India's visually impaired cricketers, including funding international travel and accommodation for two overseas tournaments annually for both the men's and women's teams.

In addition, the BCCI has also committed to provide accommodation for home and visiting sides during bilateral series hosted in India. The visually impaired teams will also receive exclusive access to BCCI-supported stadiums and grounds for domestic and international fixtures, ensuring world-class playing conditions and professional standards.
