Bengaluru, March 23 -- The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Monday unveiled updated guidelines for the Indian Premier League (IPL), introducing a series of measures designed to regulate team practice routines, match-day conduct, and player movements.

The most striking directive bars all practice sessions on match days, a move aimed at ensuring players focus on strategy, recovery, and discipline rather than last-minute warm-ups.

According to the BCCI's addendum, teams will have access to two nets and one side wicket in the designated practice area, while at Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium, two practice wickets on either side of the main square will be allotted to each team.
