Dhaka, Jan. 15 -- The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) on Thursday issued a show cause notice to director M Najmul Islam over derogatory remarks amid Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) boycott threat, according to a report by The Daily Star.
In a press release, the BCB said "formal disciplinary proceedings" had been initiated against the director and that he had been asked to submit a written explanation within 48 hours.
"As a constitutional body, the BCB is duty-bound to address such matters strictly in accordance with its established rules, regulations, and professional guidelines.
