Hyderabad, Sept. 18 -- Telangana Tourism and Culture Minister Jupally Krishna Rao on Thursday said that Bathukamma, a vibrant floral festival, is the true reflection of Telangana's culture, symbolising respect and protection of nature.
Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan, he urged people across the state to participate in the celebrations on a large scale and showcase Telangana's rich heritage to the world.
The Minister announced that the Bathukamma festival will be celebrated from September 21 to 31, beginning with the Thousand Pillar Mandapam.
