Kolkata, Nov. 27 -- A Bangladeshi national, identified as Nadeem Sardar living for 15 years in the industrial Dankuni in Hooghly district, was arrested after his abortive attempt to fill up the enumeration form (SIR) in the name of a dead person in the locality, official sources said.

The accused was caught by the family members of the dead person and handed him over to the local police.

Nadeem Sardar came about 15 years ago and got his Aadhaar card after paying Rs 4,000 to one Robin of Gobra and settled at Dankuni near Kolkata for one-and-a-half decades.
