Colombo, Oct. 2 -- Bangladesh Women were unstoppable as they dismantled Pakistan Women by seven wickets in the third match of the ICC Women's World Cup 2025 at R Premadasa Stadium today.
From the first ball to the last, it was a clinical performance that left Pakistan chasing shadows.
Electing to bat, Pakistan Women struggled from the outset. Marufa Akter made an immediate statement, removing Omaima Sohail and Sidra Amin in her opening over. Nishita Akter Nishi and Rabeya Khan kept the pressure, and Shorna Akter mopped up the tail. Fatima Sana's 22 was a lone fight, but Pakistan never built a partnership, folding for 129 in 38.3 overs.
