Mymensingh, Jan. 8 -- The Detective Branch of Bangladesh Police said on Thursday it has arrested another key suspect accused of leading the horrific mob killing of local Hindu garment worker Dipu Chandra Das in Bhaluka, Mymensingh, as investigators said the inquiry had uncovered an organised role behind the fatal attack.

The suspect, Mohammad Yasin Arafat, 25, was arrested on January 7 from the Sarulia area under Dhaka Metropolitan Police jurisdiction, according to Mymensingh Additional Superintendent of Police (Administration) Abdullah Al Mamun.

Investigators said the suspect played a "leading role" in the killing and had been on the run for nearly two weeks following the incident.
