Dhaka, Dec. 20 -- Bangladesh interim govt Chief Advisor Muhammad Yunus has announced a one-day national mourning period on Saturday in remembrance of prominent July Uprising figure and spokesperson of the newly-formed social organisation Inqilab Moncho, Sharif Osman Hadi, following his death on Thursday.
Addressing the country on Thursday night, Yunus said that the national flag would be flown at half-mast at all government, semi-government and autonomous institutions, educational institutions, government and private buildings, as well as Bangladesh missions abroad as part of the nationwide mourning period for Hadi.
