Islamabad, Jan. 6 -- Deepening bilateral defence ties, the air force chiefs of Pakistan and Bangladesh held detailed discussions on the potential procurement by Dhaka of Islamabad's JF-17 Thunder fighter jets, said Pakistan military's media wing, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement on Tuesday.

According to the ISPR, Bangladesh Air Force Air Chief Marshal Hasan Mahmood Khan called on Pakistan Air Force Chief Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu in Islamabad, where he was accorded with a guard of honour, after which the two military leaders subsequently discussed, and reviewed matters related to defence cooperation.
