Karimnagar, Jan. 14 -- union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Wednesday appealed to the people of Karimnagar to hand over the Mayor's seat to the BJP and ensure a majority of BJP corporators in the upcoming Karimnagar Municipal Corporation elections, stating that this would help in the continued flow of development funds from the Central government.
Addressing party workers, Bandi Sanjay said electing BJP corporators in most divisions would provide scope for further development of Karimnagar. He alleged that not a single rupee was spent on the city's development during the last two years of Congress rule and warned that voting for the Congress or the BRS, which is not in power, could stall development works.
