New Delhi, Jan. 29 -- Exercise Tatraksha, a specialised, multi-agency, land-sea joint maritime security exercise, was conducted by the Indian Army's Bald Eagle Brigade, along with the Indian Coast Guard, Border Security Force, Gujarat Marine Police, and the civil administration in the Kutch region of Gujarat.
In February 2025, a similar large-scale military exercise named 'Jal-Thal-Raksha 2025' was conducted at Bet Dwarka, Gujarat. This involved the 11 Infantry Division (Ahmedabad), 31 Infantry Brigade (Jamnagar), the Indian Coast Guard, and the Marine Police to combat illegal encroachments and secure islands.
