Manama, Jan. 29 -- The Bahrain Olympic Committee has extended its multi-year partnership with the DP World Tour, ensuring the Bahrain Championship will remain on the tour calendar until at least 2036.
The agreement was unveiled on Wednesday at the opening ceremony for the 2026 Bahrain Championship, which begins on Thursday at the Royal Golf Club in Bahrain. The tournament features a prize fund of 2.75 million U.S. dollars.
The Bahrain Championship follows the Dubai Invitational and the Hero Dubai Desert Classic, the season's first Rolex Series event, and is one of seven tournaments in the DP World Tour's International Swing.
