Badaun, March 29 -- Two police officials have been suspended after a video surfaced showing alleged misconduct and assault on a visually impaired man at Bisauli police station, officials said on Sunday.
According to reports, the incident involved station in-charge Rajendra Singh Pundir and sub-inspector Bhupendra Yadav, who were accused of verbally abusing and physically assaulting a complainant identified as Morpal, a visually impaired man.
Morpal had reportedly visited the police station to demand the registration of a First Information Report (FIR) regarding a road accident that occurred on March 2.
