Ranchi, Feb. 3 -- Former Jharkhand Chief Minister and Leader of the Opposition, Babulal Marandi, has issued a sharp reaction to the speech delivered by Chief Minister Hemant Soren in Dumka.

In a statement released on Tuesday, Marandi, the former state BJP chief, said that the tribal community in Jharkhand is becoming increasingly aware of its self-respect, identity and rights. Taking to social media, he accused the Chief Minister and the ruling Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) of treating tribals as a political resource rather than respecting their dignity.
