Mumbai, Dec. 26 -- Mumbai police has filed a 200-page supplementary chargesheet against accused Amol Gaikwad in the Baba Siddiqui murder case, naming him as the 27th arrested individual. The document includes statements of around 30 witnesses and details direct links between Gaikwad and the absconding key conspirator Shubham Lonkar.

A police officer investigating the case said on Friday that Gaikwad, a resident of Warje in Pune, was arrested from Kolhapur in August after remaining absconding for several months. He allegedly kept shifting locations between Nashik, Solapur and Kolhapur to evade tracking.
