Lucknow, Sept. 23 -- On the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, various programs were organized across the state today as Ayushman Bharat Day to mark the completion of seven years of the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY).
Under this initiative, special camps were organized in every district of the state, where Ayushman cards were also made. It is worth noting that the scheme was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on September 23, 2018. It has now become the world's largest universal health protection scheme.
The scheme aims to provide free and quality healthcare to poor, disadvantaged, and needy families, and Uttar Pradesh has achieved historic success in this regard.
