Lucknow, March 6 -- Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel said that it is essential to effectively implement the "KG to PG" concept in the field of education.
She said that coordinated efforts should be made to ensure 100 per cent enrolment of children aged three years in Anganwadi centres and enrolment of all children aged six years in Class 1.
During an interactive session with a 21-member delegation of media representatives from Karnataka and Tripura here at Jan Bhawan, the Governor shared her experiences on various topics related to education, health, women's empowerment, and social awareness.
