Hyderabad, April 7 -- A review meeting with Private Marketing Companies (PMCs) dealing with Auto LPG was held here on Tuesday under the chairmanship of M. Stephen Raveendra, Commissioner of Civil Supplies, to assess supply and availability in the city.

The meeting, a follow-up to an earlier review held on April 1, noted that several private Auto LPG outlets had previously ceased operations, causing inconvenience to auto drivers.

PMCs had been directed to take urgent steps to ensure uninterrupted supply.

During the latest review, officials noted improvement in supply, with a total of 363 metric tonnes of Auto LPG sourced and distributed over the past week.

As many as 17 previously non-operational outlets were also restored.
