Canberra, April 1 -- Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has said Australia is not an active participant in the West Asia war, but all Australians are paying higher energy prices because of it, urging citizens to switch to public transport as the global oil crisis drives up fuel prices.
In a rare national address broadcast simultaneously across television and radio networks on Wednesday evening, Albanese acknowledged the hard economic impact of the conflict in West Asia.
