United Nations/New Delhi, Sept. 28 -- India today tore into Pakistan, without directly naming it, over its perpetration of cross-border terrorism, including the Pahalgam attack, and called for deeper international cooperation to counter the menace, at the United Nations General Assembly.

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, delivering India's statement at the 80th Session of the UNGA, also made a strong pitch for reform of the world body. On Ukraine and Gaza, he said that India calls for an end to hostilities and will support any initiative that will help restore peace.
