Nagpur/Gadchiroli, Oct. 15 -- After spending many years in the Naxal movement, two former Naxalites, who were recruited into the insurgency as children and spent over two decades in the movement, have surrendered to police in Maharashtra's Gadchiroli district and chosen to reintegrate into society through peaceful means.
Asin Rajaram and Janita Jade of Gadchiroli surrendered and made a courageous decision to place faith in the Constitution.
Asin Rajaram, originally from Haryana, and Janita Jade, a native of Gadchiroli, surrendered to district police earlier this year under the state government's rehabilitation policy for Naxalites.
