Srinagar, May 4 -- As trends from the Assembly elections in West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Assam pointed to major political shifts, reactions in Jammu and Kashmir captured a mix of surprise, sharp political messaging and celebration.
Chief Minister Omar Abdullah summed up the initial mood with a brief but emphatic "Bloody hell." in a post on X, reflecting the unexpected nature of the trends.
"Bloody hell," Omar posted on X earlier the day, while expressing shock.
In a separate post on X, Omar said the aftershocks of results in West Bengal and Tamil Nadu will be felt far and wide for a long time, probably all the way up to 2029.
