Guwahati, Nov. 5 -- Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said on Wednesday that the state government is working to get Late Bhupen Hazarika's famous song 'Manuhe Manuhir Babe' recognized as the 'Anthem of Humanity' and added that it would submit a formal request to the global body regarding this.
Chief Minister said this while participating in the 'Shraddhanjali' programme organized by the Department of Cultural Affairs, Government of Assam, at Dr. Bhupen Hazarika Samannay Tirtha, Jalukbari, Guwahati.
