Guwahati, Jan. 29 -- Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Wednesday said that it is everyone's responsibility to lodge complaints against suspected citizens while the process of Special Revision of electoral rolls are underway.
Talking to newspersons on the sidelines of a programme, Biswa Sarma admitted that he has asked BJP workers to file bulk Form 7 against Miyas (the Bengali speaking Muslims).
"It is a national responsibility of everyone to lodge complaints against people with suspected credentials. Everyone knows that there are Bangladeshi Miyas in Assam. If we do not lodge complaints against them while the process of Special Revision of electoral rolls are in, it will imply that there are no Bangladeshi Miyan in Assam," he sa...
