Bengaluru, March 27 -- With the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 matches set to commence from Saturday, Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar on Friday clarified the ticket distribution policy for elected representatives, saying that he has requested for two tickets if family members wish to watch.

"All tickets have already been sold. Four tickets cannot be given. Earlier, every MLA, MP, and minister used to get one seat each. Now, we have requested them to give two tickets if family members want to watch," he said, adding that the allocation follows the directions of the Honourable Speaker.
