Puducherry, May 3 -- With several post poll surveys forecasting that the ruling AINRC-led NDA would retain power a second successive term, counting of votes polled in the April 9 elections to elect the 30-member Puducherry Territorial Assembly, would be held tomorrow.
An all time high record of 91.23 per cent of the total 9.53 lakh voters exercised their franchise in the 1,099 booths in the single phase polling, deciding the fate of total 294 candidates, of which 40 were women.
