Itanagar, Feb. 4 -- Marking World Cancer Day, the Spearhead Gunners, in collaboration with the Department of Women and Child Development, Tuting Block, Arunachal Pradesh, on Tuesday organised a cancer awareness workshop aimed at empowering adolescent girls through education and preventive healthcare.
The programme witnessed the active participation of 72 adolescent girls, who attended interactive sessions on HPV vaccination, breast self-examination, and menstrual health and hygiene-critical components in the early prevention and detection of cancer.
