Itanagar, April 28 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday virtually inaugurated the Indoor Cricket Academy at Midpu, Doimukh, marking a significant milestone towards strengthening sports infrastructure in Arunachal Pradesh.
In a major boost to cricketing infrastructure in the Northeast, similar indoor cricket academies were also inaugurated simultaneously in five other North Eastern states alongside Arunachal Pradesh. These academies have been fully funded and constructed by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), underscoring its commitment to expanding cricket infrastructure and nurturing emerging talent in the region.
