Itanagar, Feb. 22 -- In a swift and commendable action, the District Cyber Crime Cell, Pasighat under East Siang Police today successfully restored Rs 98,000 lost in a cyber fraud case to one Hriday Nath Pandey.
According to official sources, the complainant had promptly lodged his grievance on the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal following the fraudulent transaction. Acting without delay, the District Cyber Crime Cell, Pasighat, initiated necessary procedures and coordinated closely with the concerned bank, resulting in the successful recovery and restoration of the cheated amount.
