Itanagar, July 24 -- The Arunachal Pradesh State Commission for Women (APSCW) has strongly condemned the brutal machete attack on a lady, Yajik Hui Pegmir, by her husband, Pegmir Kasa, at Repari village under Kamporijo circle in Kamle district.
The Commission has taken suo motu cognizance of the incident and formally urged the Superintendent of Police, Kamle district, to take necessary action against the accused, and ensure a thorough and impartial investigation in order to deliver justice to the victim.
