Itanagar, April 18 -- In a swift and coordinated operation, the Itanagar Police arrested an accused within hours of registering an FIR in connection with a case involving the gifting of a 9mm bullet to an Anti-Drugs Warriors (NGO) member.
A senior officer said the case came to light after a video related to the incident went viral, prompting immediate police action. Acting on the development, a police team, led by Itanagar SDPO Chera Saban, along with Officer-in-Charge of Chimpu Police Station Inspector N Nishant and Sub-Inspector Sanjeet Jha, launched a prompt operation using technical surveillance and field inputs.
