Itanagar, April 1 -- Arunachal Pradesh has emerged as the top-performing state in the country in terms of Goods and Services Tax (GST) revenue growth, recording a remarkable 27.5 per cent increase during April 2025 to March 2026-more than four times the national average of 6.4 per cent.
According to official data released by the Ministry of Finance on April 1, 2026, the state's robust performance was driven by strong growth in both Central and State tax formations, reflecting improved compliance and expanding economic activity.
